Globe Telecommunications has been redesigning 2 of their flagship stores for a while and now the time has come for the opening. Last December 15, 2014, Globe simultaneous launched Gen3 stores both in Limketkai Center Mall, Cagayan de Oro and SM North Edsa, Quezon City.
CDO Info is quite lucky to be one of the attendees at the launching and was treated a first look inside the Gen3 store. I could say that the newly redesigned store is interactive, innovative and fun. Not too mention that it is clutter free. As what Tim Kobe said, “Globe is transforming the customer experience in the Philippines and it will send shock waves far beyond.”
In my Globe Gen3 previous post, Globe mentioned this:
“The new stores will also house interactive lifestyle vignettes that will feature a myriad of products within interesting displays that make it more relevant to customers. The installations are made flexible and reconfigurable allowing the store to transform, keeping the environment always fresh and giving customers a reason to return.”
Indeed, the Gen3 store is fun that you’ll want to come again because there will be something new to experience.
Here in CDO, you can see a big screen where you can see a broadcast on what’s happening in the Globe store in SM North Edsa. Before the unveiling of the store, dancers with different costumes performed on stage. After the dance performance, Matteo Guidicelli and Maxine Monasterio (hosts of the event) together with the Globe Executives and City Officials joined in a toast to celebrate the opening of the Gen3 Store.
After the wine toasting comes the unveiling of the store. By the way, the attendees are given a wrist band in different colors at the registration booth which indicates our groupings in going in the store. After all the invited guests and bloggers’ tour, the store is now opened for the public.
Inside the Gen3 Store
The new Gen3 store caters to the needs of every customer. If you’re a gadget freak and a gamer, you can interact with the latest gadgets and games that they have. You can also talk to a customer service representative and this time you can see their faces and not only hear their voices. If you’re paying a bill, they have an automated bill payment system. You can no longer wait in long lines. This is such a good news for the paying customers.
Here are some of the pictures I’ve taken inside the store:
